OSHA 1910 subpart s requires electrical workers to be trained on electrical safe work practices before they work around electrical circuits above 50 Volts.
NFPA 70E is the standard which is used to implement an Electrical Safety Program utilizing Electrical Safe Work Practices. This Standard titled "Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace", instructs electrical workers how to avoid the electrical hazards of Shock and Arc Flash.
NFPA 70E Training is provided by the company Electrical Safe Work Practices LLC. There is a training session taking place 1/4 mile from downtown Cincinnati Oh. on Feb. 16, 2009. The training will be held at the Holiday Inn Express in Bellevue, KY at a cost of $189 per person.
